According to the invention, a piezoelectric measuring sensor 1 receives, by solid conduction in a steel component having the form of a seal 34, the acoustic waves generated by the interaction between the flow 31 whose flow rate is to be measured, and a lug 32 formed on this component inside this flow. A reference sensor 11 makes it possible to disregard the background noise existing in the same frequency range.
