The invention relates to a device for rotationally driving modular display stands. The fixed base 1 is motorised and contains a motor 10, 11 for driving a rotating column which rests via its bottom on a driving roller 12 mounted coaxially with a transmission rod 8 which passes through the base and which is driven by the motor. This transmission rod provided with male or female connectors at its ends enables its rotational motion to be transmitted to an adjacent module which is of identical design but is not provided with a driving motor.
