PURPOSE:To prevent damage of a light source due to the contact in error to a package of a light source or the like by providing an electric insulation layer to the package part of the light source and a part being in electric continuity condition with the outer layer part of the package. CONSTITUTION:A laser case arm 21B is fitted freely to a hole made to the center of a laser support base 31 in a semiconductor laser 2 and a laser case collar 21A is locked to the step around the hole. Moreover, a laser retainer plate 33 is used and a laser case 21 is screwed so as to be pressed to the laser support base 31 by using a screw 35. In this case, the laser support base 31 and the laser retainer plate 33 are made of a metal and the screw 35 screws the laser support base 31 and the laser retainer 33 to a laser support member 111 via an insulation color 43 and a Mylar sheet 41. Then an insulator 4 is covered so as to cover the entire part of the support base 31, the plate 33 and the head of the screw 35 or the like. Thus, the surface of the package is insulated electrically from the surrounding and damage to the light source for the laser 2 or the like is prevented because of the erroneous contact to the outer package. |
