PURPOSE:To finish one main image which differ in color or density or plural main images to a desired color and density by specifying plural image parts and finding the quantity of main image features from the plural specified image parts. CONSTITUTION:A main image part is specified by observing a color original image 13 displayed on a monitor and the quantity of image features is found from the specified main image part and plural image are specified by using at least the quantity of main image features when the quantities of copy exposure of respective colors at the time of the copying of the copying of the color original image 13 on a recording medium 26 are determined, and the quantity of main image features is found from the plural specify main image parts. The quantities of copy exposure are so determined as to finish them to proper density and color balance, and consequently a yield is improved. When there are plural important images, all of them are only specified, so the specification of the main image part is facilitated.
