PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts, by inserting both a lower stanchion and an upper stanchion into a supporting device attached to a base plate and connecting these upper and lower stanchions by means of a connecting member. CONSTITUTION:A pair of supporting members 3 are fixed to a hole 2 of a base plate 1, while a lower stanchion 4 is inserted into an engaging recessed-hole 3c. An upper stanchion 8 is arranged to a projection 7 of a main body 5. A connecting member 10, which connects the upper stanchion 8 and the lower stanchion 4, is provided at its both ends with a vertical through hole 11, one each. The lower part of the upper stanchion 8 and the upper part of the lower stanchion 4 are inserted into these through holes 11 and are fixed by a screw. As a result, the stanchion can be formed with the reduced number of parts, thereby easing the assembling work.
