PURPOSE:To directly view the erect image of a cassette tape by providing freely rotatably a light source at the upper plate part of a cassette holder and a refracting transmission member at the forward direction of the light source and emitting the erect image through the refracting transmission member of a rear inclined posture with the image of a cassette tape radiated by the light source. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette tape 2 is inserted from an inserting port 3, a cassette holder 7 is descended and arrives at a travelling position, a refracting transmission member 19 is turned downward by a dead weight and goes to be the rear inclined posture of an angle D. The light reflected at an angle E from the surface of the cassette tape 2 radiated by the light of a light source 8 refracts and transmits the refracting transmission member 19 having an angle surface 20 composed of a prism surface 19a, emits through an inserting port opening/closing cover 4 and the erect image of the cassette tape 2 is directly viewed.
