PURPOSE:To apply an expression including ambiguity that is emergeable in a text sentence to be supplied to back up pre-compilation of an input sentence, by deciding the ambiguity caused by the interference of the morpheme registered in a dictionary based on the retrieving result a retrieving means. CONSTITUTION:An ambiguity deciding part 1 detects the ambiguity latent at a word dictionary memory part 3 to display and store it. A dictionary retrieving part 2 retrieves the word emerging at the position designated by the part 1 out of the part 3 and gives the result of this retrieval to the part 1. The expression decided to include the ambiguity is decided by a user via a display device 9B for its possibility. Thus the user decides said possibility with the meaning and the common sense and gives its answer via a data input part 9A. The part 1 stores the ambiguous expression in an ambiguous expression memory part 6 in response to said answer to store the ambiguous expressions. A text comparison part 7 compares the text stored in a text memory part with the ambiguous expression stored in the part 6 for detection of the ambiguity in the text and displays this detection result via the device 9B. Then the user is urged to compile the text.
