The invention relates to a device making it possible to take a label under a slight reduced pressure, to bring it into contact with the product to be labelled and to smooth over its entire surface. It consists of a support 6 having an orifice 7 enabling a label to be taken under a slight vacuum by means of the membrane 5; the columns 1 guided in the ball sleeves 2 permit perfect centring of the vacuum orifices between 6 and 5, the small bars 4 make it possible to hold the membrane 5 on the pallets 8 which are themselves fastened on to the upper holding member 3, the membrane 5 perfectly matches the shape of the product to be labelled and totally smooths the label. <IMAGE>
