The complete apparatus is made up of an elevator 1, a vibrating unit 5 and 6 and a pathway 7 along which the produce is fed. This machine automatically feeds oysters and other shellfish to sorting machines. A pathway 14 in the form of a trough, and a paddle device 15, are used to distribute the oysters or shellfish one by one into each cup 16 of the sorting machine. The device according to the invention is intended to supply oysters and shellfish to sorting machines. <IMAGE>
