PURPOSE:To easily access a memory area without designating an absolute address from outside by retrieving the head address by a retrieving means and accessing the corresponding data memory area of the relevant use based on both head and relative addresses in response to a fact that the relative address is received from outside. CONSTITUTION:A memory 1 includes a control area 2 and a data area 3. The use identification data is received from outside together with a relative address showing the address of an access subject area where the head address is shown as a start point. The head address corresponding to the use identification data is retrieved out of the area 2. Then an access subject area is designated based on said head and relative addresses. Thus an access is easily given to a desired area without designating an absolute address from outside.
