PURPOSE:To accurately decide an original point even in case a shaft-shaped tip part which decides the original point is set at either right or left side of a switch when the processing is started, by making the switch have two reciprocating motions in a small distance and defining a second stop position as the original point. CONSTITUTION:When a sensor 6 detects before start of the relevant processing that a shaft-shaped tip part 2 is set at the right side, for example, at first against a switch 1, the part 2 is moved left as shown by an arrow head 71. In this case, a column 12 is pushed and an open/close part 11 works. Then the open/close state of the switch 1 is inverted to prevent the left shift of the part 2. Thus the part 2 moves left slightly owing to the inertia of a block material 4 and the right end of the part 2 is stopped at a point P3. Then the block material 4, i.e., the part 2 is shifted right as shown by an arrow head 72. Thus an open/close part 11 of the switch 1 is detached from the switch 1 by the column 12. Then the part 2 stops and the right end position P4 of the part 2 is defined as an original point. In such a way, the original point is decided regardless of the first position of the part 2.
