PURPOSE:To greatly reduce the damage of a photosensitive body at the time of the attachment and detachment of a process unit by mounting and demounting the process unit on and from a supporting structure main body through the top surface opening of the support structure main body which is formed by setting an auxiliary supporting frame body at an open position. CONSTITUTION:This machine includes the supporting structure main body, a unit frame 18, and and electrostatic sensitive body 20 mounted on the unit frame 18, which has the process unit 16 mounted freely attachahly and detachably on the supporting structure body. Further, this machine is equipped with the auxiliary supporting frame body 8 which is mounted on the supporting structure main body so that is can freely swivel between the open position for opening part of the top surface of the supporting structure main body and and a closure position for closing the top surface of the supporting structure main body, and the process unit 16 is mounted on and demounted from the supporting structure through the top surface opening of the supporting structure main body formed by setting the auxiliary auxiliary supporting frame body 8 to the open position. Consequently, when the unit frame 18 is moved forth and back, the unit frame 18 is prevented from damaging the photosensitive body 20 at the moment it leaves an upper supporting frame body 6.
