PURPOSE:To attain the common use of a facsimile equipment by a public telephone set by providing a switch enabling a signal only when the charge is to be collected such as deposition of coins and a function stopping the transmission signal by means of a charging signal at the deficient charge state. CONSTITUTION:In deposition a coin or loading a telephone card, a control section CT controls a talking circuit TK or a facsimile circuit FAX in response to the hook-off of hook switches HS1, HS2 to attain the transmission by a signal from a coin unit MU or a card unit CU. When a caller switches a changeover switch CS to apply talking or transmission, a charging signal is sent in response to the quantity of use and a changing signal detection section KD subtracts the remaining traffic. If the charge is deficient, the talking or transmission signal is stopped by the charging signal applied to the control section CT.
