PURPOSE:To ensure the automatic control of timing for a drive mechanism so as to eliminate the deviation of synchronism, by comparing the time counting contents of a timer means with its reference value to detect the delay of a drive element and quickening the supply time point of the drive signal to the drive element. CONSTITUTION:If the action delay time of a clutch 3 changes to T2 from T1, the time T0 is set at a fixed level between a time point when transport of a form 5 is started by a paper feed roll 4 and a time point when a sensor 6 detects the rear end of the form 5. Thus the time between the supply timing t0 of a drive signal and the detection timing t1' for the rear end of the form 5 is changed to TC from TN (TN<TC). As a result, the action delay of the clutch 3 has a change by (TC-TN). Thus a CPU 7 quickens hereafter the supply timing of the drive signal of the clutch 3 by said delay time (TC-TN). Therefore the drive timing of a rotary shaft is equal to its preceding one at the next feed time of the form 5. Then the detection timing for read end of the form 5 is equal to its preceding one for the sensor 6. Thus the feed timing of the form 5 is kept at a fixed level. |
