PURPOSE:To obtain the titled product useful as a drug, etc., containing ginseng essence and anhydrous maltose in a liquid state or powder state with low water vapor absorption or in bulky state in a preservable state for a long period and simply. CONSTITUTION:A ginseng essence product containing ginseng (Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer, Panax japonicus C. A. Meyer, etc.) essence and anhydrous maltose and/or maltose. The ginseng essence product contains 2-600pts.wt., preferably 10-100pts.wt. based on 1pt.wt. ginseng essence component of anhydrous maltose or maltose monohydrate, maltose containing water of crystallization. The ginseng essence, for example, is obtained by extracting from raw or dried root of ginseng and a cell group or cell bulk obtained by tissue culture of ginseng may be used. |
