<p>PURPOSE:To visualize and detect a charge distribution by detecting an electric field distribution by a charge, as an intensity distribution of light by using an electrooptical effect element. CONSTITUTION:An irradiation light from a light source 14 passing through a lens 16, a polarizing plate 17 and a 1/4 wavelength plate 18 passes through a transparent electrode 13, an electrooptical element 11 whose refractive index is varied in accordance with an electric field by static electricity of a sample A, a reflecting film 12, etc.,, and made incident on a photodetector such as an image sensor 15, etc., through an analyzer 19, a condensing lens 20, etc. In such a way, an electric field distribution by a charge is detected as an intensi ty of light and a charge distribution can be visualized and detected.</p> |
