PURPOSE:To perform packing efficiently by mounting rope handles between liquid port plugs on a cover, pressing them with a plate-shaped buffer member, and fixing the buffer member to a storage battery with an adhesive tape. CONSTITUTION:A plate-shaped buffer member 7 common to multiple liquid port plugs 3, multiple terminals 4, and multiple handle fitting sections 5 on the cover 2 of a storage battery 1 is mounted, and the storage battery 1 is stored in a storage box together with the buffer member 7 and rope handles 6 to be fitted to handle fitting sections 5 for packing. The rope handles 6 are mounted between the adjacent liquid port plugs on the cover 2, and the buffer member 7 is fixed to the storage battery 1 with an adhesive tape 8, with the rope handles 6 pressed by the buffer member 7. Thereby, the rope handles 6 are not fastened to handle fitting sections 5 at the time of packing, knots of the rope handles 6 are prevented from being hitched by the storage box or pushing up the buffer member 7, the storage battery 1 can be easily stored in the storage box together with the buffer member 7, and the cover of the storage box can be easily closed after they are stored. |
