Quality assurance system on ultrasonic basis

The performance of a quality assurance system on ultrasonic basis is described which consists of at least one transmitter/receiver combination, the transmitter being mounted underneath and the receiver being mounted above the object to be tested. A particular feature is the sound conducting system which is curved starting from the transmitter and which provides for correct test results when the diameter and frequency are tuned and contamination is prevented.
