PURPOSE:To suppress the lowering in working efficiency and printing press operating efficiency, by comparing a stored variation value change characteristic with a variation value change characteristic actually detected to estimate whether a variation value reaches an abnormal region and reducing the speed of a printing press when it is estimated that said variation value will reach the abnormal value. CONSTITUTION:A comparing operation circuit 5 compares the number of rotations of a printing press at the time of normal operation inputted through a data memory 6 and the temp. rising characteristic of a cylinder bearing with a present value with respect to an operating time to make it possible to operationally estimate what degree does temp. rise after how many minutes when operation is continued as it is. When it is estimated that the temp. of the cylinder bearing reaches an abnormal temp. rising region before the printing of residual matters to be printed is finished in the comparing operation circuit 5, a printing press number-of-rotation control circuit 7 is driven and the number of rotations of a main motor 9 is reduced from the temp. rising rate of the cylinder bearing to a safety region. |
