PURPOSE:To dehydrate a laver sheet after laver-making process in high efficiency, by making a laver sheet on a screen, contacting the sheet with a dehydration roll and squeezing out the water from the dehydration roll. CONSTITUTION:A dehydration roll 2 having a water-absorbing material lined on the surface is made to be vertically and reciprocatively movable at prescribed timing. The dehydration roll absorbs water from the laver sheet under rolling when the roller is lowered and made to contact with the laver sheet on the screen and pressed. When the roll is lifted, it is pressed against a squeezing roll to squeeze out the water from the dehydration roll. |
