PURPOSE:To reduce the burden on a worker and to efficiently perform the image recording and developing process by displaying internal information detected by a detecting means on a display part provided on an image recording mechanism. CONSTITUTION:The worker can confirm the driving state of an automatic developing mechanism 14 by a display device 19, on which temperatures and remaining quantities of various processing liquids stored in tanks 78, 98, and 106 and the occurrence of abnormality like a defect of carrying of a film F or the like are displayed, while taking his place on the side of an image recording mechanism 12 of an image recording and developing device to attach and detach a film magazine 26. Consequently, it is unnecessary for the worker to relatively frequently move between the image recording mechanism 12 an the automatic developing mechanism 14 to confirm whether abnormality occurs in the automatic developing mechanism 14 or not, and the burden on the worker is reduced. Especially, the automatic developing device 14 is monitored without interrupting the attaching/detaching work of the film magazine 26 or the taking- out work of the film, thereby efficiently recording an image.
