PURPOSE:To obtain a sounding device with high sound pressure level at a wide band while applying miniaturization by supporting and fixing a piezoelectric sounding element via a film made of a raw material having a large flexibility. CONSTITUTION:The sounding body 11 is fixed to the support fixing base 13 via a thin organic resin film 12 having flexibility, and when an AC electric signal is inputted to the sounding body 11, the body is in bent vibration and sound is produced. The surrounding of the sounding body is semi-fixed, the low sound pressure level being a disadvantage of the surround fixing type is avoided and a narrow band width being a disadvantage of a node fixed type is solved simultaneously. Furthermore, since the external mechanical shock is absorbed by the flexible support member, the sounding body is not damaged even if it is made thin up to its extreme. Thus, the piezoelectric sounding device having a high sound pressure level over a wide band with small size and light weight is obtained.
