PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition moldable with remarkably reduced emission of THF to eliminate the influence on precision contact, by adding zinc chloride and an acid halide compound to a polybutylene terephthalate resin. CONSTITUTION:The objective polybutylene terephthalate resin composition contains (A) 0.01-0.1wt% zinc chloride and (B) 0.1-1.0wt% acid halide compound. The component B is e.g. benzoyl chloride, palmitoyl chloride, stearoyl chloride, etc.
