PURPOSE:To reduce the number of a forming roll and to reduce the machining allowance of a metal strip stock by forming the locking part of the other member with the sub-metal strip stock joining to the main metal strip stock. CONSTITUTION:Each strip stock M, S are delivered from uncoilers 10, 11, the sub-metal strip stock S is fed to a rotary spot welding machine 12 by abutting it in opposition to one part on the surface of the main metal strip stock M and joined with welding at the specified pitch. After joining the sub-metal strip stock S the main metal strip stock M is formed with bending as the main body part of a metal member having a specific dissimilar sectional shape by a cold roll forming machine 13. The main part is composed of the channel part in about groove shape consisting of an inner side face m1, outer side face m2 and bottom face m3 and the reinforcing part m4 formed by curving to the external part from the inner side face m1, and after the bending the bottom face m3 and the back face of the reinforcing part m4 are joined with welding on each specified pitch by a welding machine 14. The sub-metal strip stock S is used as the stock for a door frame by cutting in specified dimension in case of its being formed as a small locking part without its bending.
