PURPOSE:To carry out the installing and removing operation of a large-size tire for aircraft rapidly and accurately by providing a large-size tire holding means on the deck of an operation vehicle via a link mechanism which is rotatable in horizontal and vertical directions and providing a lift-up/down driving part and a balancing mechanism on said link mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A parallel link mechanism 4 is provided on a pillar 5 erected on the deck of a self-traveling type operating vehicle and a supporting arm 9 is provided on its end part link part to provide a large-size tire holding means 22. A lift up/down driving part 10 consisting of a hydraulic actuator 12 and an arm 13 which is supported by the pillar 5 is pron the parallel link mechanism 4, and a balancing mechanism 14 consisting of a coil spring 17 and a buffer 18 is provided in between the arm 13 and the upper side link 6 of the parallel link mechanism 4. And, a large-size tire holding means 22 consisting of a tire holding roller 24 and a height adjusting mechanism 26, etc. is horizontally rotatably provided on the end part of the supporting arm 9. Thereby, the installing and removing operations of a large tire for aircraft can be carried out rapidly and accurately.
