PURPOSE:To produce a composite sintered body having excellent characteristics by providing diffusion preventive layers having poor wettability with the liquid phase of the divided parts produced after sintering between the respective divided parts at the time of sintering the composite body constituted by being divided to plural regions. CONSTITUTION:The diffusion preventive layers 3 having the poor wettability with the liquid phase of blade edge parts 1 made of a material having excellent hardness, etc., and a central part 2 made of a material having excellent toughness at the time of sintering are provided between then blade edge parts 1 and the central part 2 at the time of sintering said edge parts 1 and central part 2. The diffusion of the edge parts 1 and the central part 2 is thereby prevented and the composite sintered body having the excellent characteristics is obtd.
