The manipulator comprises a micromanipulator for embryo bisection comprising an adjusting mechanism (9) having a first and a second arm, the first arm being provided with means (2, 3, 5) for its attachment to the objective (1) of a microscope, the second arm carrying a cutting tool (6), means (10) being provided for the displacement of the arms relative to each other.
