<p>PURPOSE:To accurately perform the control for distance of pitch controlling motors respectively driving an extraction roller table, a pinch roll, and a rolling stand by control commands based on calculated results of a controller for distance of pitch. CONSTITUTION:A start command arithmetic unit 18 starts an operation at a timing when the rear end of a preceding billet 1 passes through a billet detector 20 on the outlet side of a furnace. The succeeding billet 2 is carried after the rear end of the billet 1 stops on an extraction roller table 4 and a specific time lapses. A distance between the billets 1 and 2 is controlled by adjustment of a speed of a pinch roll 6 and the billets 1, 2 are carried to a rolling stand 8 to obtain products. By a device having that structure, the production is improved.</p> |
