PURPOSE:To surely replenish a developer with a simple constitution to prevent the machine inside and operator's hands from being dirtied, by closing a developer discharge hole of a vessel body and fixing one end to the guide cylinder side and lifting the vessel body to peel a seal member of the developer discharge hole and opening it. CONSTITUTION:The cover body which closes a replenishing mouth 9 in the lower end part of a developer storage body 2 is preliminarily detached, and a developer replenishing vessel 1 is set on the storage body 2. Detaining members 12 projecting in the lower end part of the replenishing vessel 1 are allowed to face notched parts 14 formed in the peripheral edge of the replenishing mouth 9, and the replenishing vessel 1 is lowered and is placed on the storage body 2. At this time, the lower end part of a flange 11 of a frame member 7 is brought into contact with the upper face of an elastic member 10 and detaining members 12 are inserted and fixed to notched parts 14. In this state, the frame member 7 is moved while being depressed to compress the member 10 until a stopper 13 is brought into contact with one end part 22 of the aperture of the replenishing mouth 9. Then, a guide cylinder 6 is fixed, and a vessel body 5 is lifted to open a developer discharge hole 4 with the cylinder 6 fixed. |
