PURPOSE:To preclude vibrations and to accurately and smoothly image recording by interposing a vibration absorbing means between an image recording mechanism and an automatic developing mechanism and coupling the image recording mechanism with the automatic developing mechanism in one body. CONSTITUTION:The automatic developing mechanism 14 of an image recording and developing device vibrates owing to a driving system, a fan, etc., incorporated in this automatic developing mechanism 14 when a film is passed through a process where development, fixation, and washing are carried out. The automatic developing mechanism 14 and image recording mechanism 12 are coupled mutually by vibration absorbing means 130-130d. Consequently, said vibrations are absorbed by elastic bodies 132a-132d, and 138a-138d which constitute vibration absorbing means 130a-130d. No unnecessary vibrations are therefore not transmitted to said image recording mechanism 12 and image recording by a laser optical system is accurately and smoothly performed.
