PURPOSE:To improve a vibration isolating property and durability by forming a part of a wheel house into a closed section structure continuing from a hood ridge refinforce to a side member in the front wheel house, etc. of an automobile. CONSTITUTION:The upper edge of a wheel house 1 on which a strut housing S is provided is joined to the lower edge of a hood ridge reinforce 5 of a closed section structure 50, while its lower part is joined to a side member 7 of a hat type section. And, a reinforcing member 14 for the hat type section is joined with its peripheral flanges (f) to a site from the reinforce 5 to the side member 7 through the top face of the wheel house, on the rear of the strut housing S, forming a closed section structure part 140 which connects the closed section structure 50 of the reinforce 5 to the closed section structure 70 of the side member 7. And, the base end part 12a of the upper link 12 of a suspension is fastened to this part with a nut 13. Thereby, a vibration isolating property and durability can be improved.
