The invention proposes a releasable locking device for apparatuses in the building industry, which device is provided with a locking element (22) which can be plugged through in each case at least one opening of two parts (10, 16) which are to be locked to one another. Provided between the locking element (22) and the inner surface of the at least one opening of one of the parts (10) is a flexible member, by means of which the transmission of impact from one of the parts to the other is damped and the danger of tearing out or deforming is thus reduced. The locking device is suitable, in particular, as a pivotable retaining device or adjustable support in the building industry. <IMAGE>
