The invention relates to an arrangement for longitudinally fixing the inner conductor with respect to the outer conductor of a coaxial cable, the end of the inner conductor in each case projecting with respect to the end of the outer conductor. The inner conductor is surrounded by an insulating body. The insulating body covers the outer conductor and is held in contact with the outer conductor by means of a hold-back securing device which is to be fixed on the inner conductor. In the case of a cable coupling, the contact sleeve for the inner conductor can be constructed as the hold-back securing device, or the hold-back securing device for the two inner conductors can be inserted into this contact sleeve. Correct longitudinal fixing of the inner conductor with respect to the outer conductor is always achieved using simple design means. <IMAGE>
