In a cutting device for loading trucks, having knives 7 projecting into the conveying channel 3, a mounting for the knives 7, which allows a particularly simple removal and fitting of the knives, is provided. The knives 7 have, on their lower part, a slot 8 which is directed obliquely upwards and which is opened towards the bottom 2 of the conveying channel 3. The slot 8 surrounds a fixed bolt 12 which itself serves as a bearing point for a flap 13. The force of a tension spring 19 acts on a catch point 10 via a control roller 18. In the operating position, the flap 13 surrounds, with a face 15, the curved spine 9 of the knife 7 and thereby holds the latter firmly. To remove a knife 7, the flap 13 can be brought into the position represented by dot-and-dash lines, after which the knife 7 can be removed in the direction of the arrow B. <IMAGE>
