PURPOSE:To manufacture the Mo wire gauze, etc. having a flat surface without collapse of the mesh by executing a plastic deforming after crossing each other a Mo or Mo base alloy wire and combining simultaneously with forming a recessed part respectively at the crossing part. CONSTITUTION:A wire gauze 1 is made by using a wire of a Mo, etc. The wire gauze 1 is rolled at room temp. and the crossing part only is virtually subjected to a plastic deforming to form the recessed part 2 pushed in each other. The recessed part 2 is formed and inevitably combined each other as well. The other linear part 3 attains to extend linearly and the uppermost face and lowermost face attain to have a flat face. In the rolling of a using Mo element wire the crossing part thereof is taken in the thickness not exceeding two times the diameter of this element wire. With this method, a tough strength without collapse of the wire mesh is given to the Mo or Mo base alloy wire gauze and the upper face and lower face of the net can be formed in flat.
