In a facade panel, the planes of underside and top side of the panel are configured obliquely with respect to the horizontal plane and parallel to one another. Provided on the facade panel are two diametrically opposite tongues or strips, each of which is an extension of the front side or rear side, respectively, of the panel. The panel has ducts which run parallel to the plane of the front and rear sides and are intended for receiving retaining clamps, and the panels exhibit predetermined breaking points which run parallel to the plane of their front and rear sides and are formed in the region of the webs between two neighbouring ducts, and the predetermined breaking points are arranged transversely with respect to the plane of the front and rear sides of the panel, between the ducts and the front and rear sides. The subject matter of the invention is, furthermore, constituted by a facade cladding which is formed by facade panels of this type, as well as a retaining clamp for fixing the facade panels.
