<p>Classifer consists of a rotating cylindrical vessel, the inner surface of the wall of which carries baffles. Along the axis of the vessel is a trough-shaped screen in which an endless screw conveyor turns. Below the trough a shaft carries helical mixer blades on a shaft, the section of the shaft nearest the inlet hopper carrying a screw conveyor to prevent banking up of material at that point. Used for sorting spherical granular material.</p> |
