PURPOSE:To obtain the good acceleration responsiveness by detecting the engine rotating speed and throttle opening with detectors and changing the duty ratio of a speed change control solenoid valve when the engine rotating speed is lower than the preset value and the throttle opening changing speed is larger than the preset value. CONSTITUTION:In a speed change control device for vehicle using a hydraulic control continuously variable transmission, values detected by an engine rotating speed detector 60 and a throttle opening detector 70 are inputted to an input device 51, the engine rotating speed is compared with the preset value by the first comparator 53, and the change speed of the throttle opening is outputted by the second detector 54. When the engine rotating speed is lower than the preset value and the throttle opening change speed is larger than the preset value, the duty ratio of a speed change control solenoid valve 43 is changed, a continuously variable transmission mechanism is transferred to the maximum speed change ratio side, and the acceleration with good response feeling is obtained. |
