PURPOSE:To effectively prevent deflection of a recording member by providing lug parts on insides of both end parts in the direction orthogonal to the running direction of the recording member and pressing these lug parts to end faces of one or more rolls which hold the recording member. CONSTITUTION:Lug parts 61 are provided on insides of both end parts in the direction orthogonal to the running direction of a recording belt 27. With respect to rolls 28-31 which hold the belt 27, rolls 28-30 are shorter than the length between both lug parts 61 by a length 2x2 and the roll 31 is shorter than this length by a length 2x1 (x2>x1), and lug parts 61 are brought into contact with the end face of the roll 31. Lug parts 61 are pressed to the end face of the roll 31 to prevent deflection of the belt. It is preferable that rolls 28-30 are made shorter than the roll 31 for the purpose of reducing the wear of lug parts 61 but also enhancing the effect of reaction of only the roll 31 to lug parts 61.
