<p>The dyes are of formula (in which R is the gp. of a coupling component, R1 is H or opt. substd. aliphatic or cycloaliphatic gp. and R2 is an opt. substd. aliphatic or cycloaliphatic gp). Ring A can be further substd. and R1R2 can form part of a heterocyclic ring. The cpds. are suitable for dyeing or printing of natural or synthetic polyamides, basic-modified polypropylene or cellulose fibres, paper and leather, giving greenish-yellow to scarlet shades of good fastness and levelness. The dyes are produced by acylating the amino gp. in p-position to -SO3H, diazotising and coupling the other amino gp. splitting off the acyl gp. from the product, diazotising and coupling the remaining amino gp. with R1R2N-CO-CH=C(OH)-CH3.</p> |
