A liquid vessel for liquid candles is described. The liquid vessel is mounted next to a liquid candle and is disposed at a higher level than it. However, it does not have to be disposed directly adjacent to the liquid candle. Liquid is fed from the liquid vessel to the liquid candle when the vessel has been filled with liquid. The vessel may be made of any materials that are appropriate for this purpose. For example of glass and metal etc. For the elevations of the holes in the distributor (Fig. 2c of the drawing), seals of rubber or plastic are provided. Where the distributor (Fig. 1C of the drawing) and the feedline (Fig. 1B) meet, a regulator was envisaged which has unintentionally been omitted from the description and drawing. This regulator has the function of regulating the amount of fluid which is fed to the liquid candle. <IMAGE>
