A distributor for splitting a current of liquid into fractional currents of predetermined size has a main chamber receiving the liquid, an adjoining secondary chamber for each fractional current, a wall with a vertically alongated aperture separating each secondary chamber from the main chamber, and an outlet from each secondary chamber. The apertures are all alike in shape and diverge upwardly from a common base level, and at higher levels the width of each aperture is a function of the size of the corresponding fracttional current. |
