Display device systems comprising a display device computer (SGR), a display device control (SGSE, SGSA) and a monitor (MO) are known in which images can be built up interactively by means of an operating unit (LG) in which basic data are combined with user data and are stored in a frame buffer of the display device computer. So that the images do not have to be manually completely reconstructed in the case of a change in the basic data, an operating memory (MD) is provided according to the invention in which all operating instructions are entered during the building up of the image. In the case of a change in the basic data and also in the user data, for example in the case of parallel projecting, the operations can be carried out automatically by calling up the memory content.
