PURPOSE:To display images to be displayed in two areas at different enlargement rates by dividing a display range area from the position of a ship to the circumference of a cathode-ray tube into two, and varying the numbers of sweep lines, etc. in the two areas. CONSTITUTION:A reflected signal is received by a transmitter/receiver device 1 during reception, passed through a transmission/reception switching circuit 2 and an amplifying and phase adjusting circuit group 14, and amplified at every reflection azimuth and range from an underwater body F. The output signal of the amplifying and phase adjusting circuit group 14 is switched by a receive according to the azimuth and time coincides with the azimuth and range of a sweep line on the cathode-ray tube 13. The output signal of the switch 15 is inputted to the cathode-ray tube 13 to display the azimuth and range of the underwater body F by a bright point. Consequently, an image is enlarged and displayed in a circular area surrounded by A but reduced and displayed in an annular area encircled by B. Thus, images to be displayed in the two areas are displayed at different enlargement rates. |
