PURPOSE:To provide an aq. rust preventive having a significant rust preventing effect and emitting no offensive odor, by using amine soap consisting of a hydroxyaryl-fatty acid and a lower amine. CONSTITUTION:An aq. rust preventive is prepd. by using amine soap consisting of a hydroxyaryl-fatty acid such as hydroxphenylstearic acid and a lower amine such as 2-6C monoethanolamine as an effective component. The rust preventive is added to an aq. soln. so as to regulate the concn. of the amine soap to about 0.05-5wt%. The rusting of a metal can be prevented with no problem on safely or the protection of environment. |
