The process for moulding and vulcanising rubber seals onto and into shaped plastic articles using upright edges running around the areas to be moulded onto and delimiting the surfaces of the articles to be kept free makes it possible to reduce the reject rate and shorten the cycle time for the injection-moulding operation by specific channel formation to bridge the sealing line created by the upright edge.
