PURPOSE:To obtain a skin member with an increased degree of freedom of forming a deep throttling, etc. by forming a thermoplastic synthetic resin layer by means of sol coating on the back of a fabric sheet which is woven with yarn having an excellent extensible property at the time of heating such as elastic fiber, heating low stress fiber, etc. CONSTITUTION:A skin member 12 is formed with a fabric sheet 15 and a laminated body of a PVC resin layer 16 which is sol coated on the back of the sheet 15. When used, e.g., for an automobile door trim 10, the skin member 12 is stuck in an integrated form to a preliminarily formed core member 11 by means of vacuum forming or low pressure forming. Elastic fiber of spandex, etc. or heating low stress fiber of modacrylic fiber, etc. is used as the material of the fabric sheet, and the PVC resin layer 16 is formed into a two layer structure of a surface layer 16a and a back layer 16b with their viscosity being differentiated and is impregnated into the ground fabric sheet 15a of the fabric sheet. Thereby, a skin member having excellent extensible property can be obtained increasing the degree of freedom of forming deep throttling, etc. |
