PURPOSE:To facilitate the recovery of fine metallic wire, which is cast on a rotary drum, by planting many fine wire holding hairs having flexibility on the inner circumferential face of the rotary drum. CONSTITUTION:On the inner circumferential face 50 of a rotary drum 10, the stainless steel-made wires 40 are planted, to form the fine wire holding hairs 42. The rotary drum 10 is rotated and molten metal is injected on a liquid coolant layer 24 from a molten metal injection nozzle 30 under pressurizing by Ar gas, and the molten metal injection nozzle 30 is reciprocately moved toward the rotating axial direction by a traversing mechanism to obtain the fine metallic wire 38 in the rotary drum 10. The fine metallic wire 38 is caught by the fine wire holding hairs 42 and even rotation of the drum 10 is stopped, the fine metallic wire 38 is not detached from the inner face of the drum 10. After stopping the rotation of the drum 10, the fine metallic wire 38 is smoothly wound to a bobbin without getting entanglement. |
