PURPOSE:To obtain a metal body equipped with an uniform property with less segregation by flowing a molten metal down to a rotary body, making it a granular body in a specific grain size by a centrifugal force and cooling it with its lamination on a mold under specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:The molten metal poured from the nozzle of tundish is clashed to a rotary disk 1 and made the granular body 4 having >=50% of <=1mm diameter by the centrifugal force of the rotary disk 1. It is then laminated on a cylindrical mold 2 placed within the specified distance in the centrifugal direction of the rotary disk 1 and after making it in a semimelting state by blowing to the lamination part, the cooling Ar gas of >=10<2>ft<3>/ton while scattering of the granular body 4 as well, the mold 2 is cooled via a water cooling groove 6 and the steel pipe with less segregation is manufactured. The plate in the specified thickness may be manufactured as well by piling on a caterpillar mold 15 by performing the above similarly. |
