PURPOSE:To enable to copy a manuscript placed on a paper supply tray position automatically without giving any damage by absorbing the manuscript on a platen cover for moving the platen cover of the absorbing state to the paper exposing position to expose it. CONSTITUTION:When a copy starting switch is pushed, at first, a working piece inserted in a positioning opening 11b formed at a bottom wall 11 of a platen cover 10 is retreated by a solenoid. Then, a blower BL is rotated and the open air is sucked into an inner chamber 13 of the cover 10 via air holes 11a..., and the cover 10 is moved in an A direction by the drive of a motor. When the cover 10 is brought in contact with a stopper 8 to stop at a fixed position on a manuscript supply tray 3, a solenoid 5 is operated to slant the tray 3. In this way, a manuscript P on the tray 3 is stuck to the cover bottom wall 11 by the absorption from one end side. In this condition, it is delivered to the exposing position and discharged on a discharge tray 6 after exposure is finished. |
